Another great writing tip from FVP Featured Author, Victoria Bastedo:
Make a way to keep a record of creative thoughts while you’re out and about. Put a notepad in your purse or coat pocket, or figure out the Voice Recorder app on your phone. You have to be purposeful about this or you’ll lose some great inspirational moments.
Many writers know that they have creative thoughts while they’re driving. Or you might hear a great conversation or see an intriguing sight at the park or the gas station. ‘I’ll have to remember this idea so I can do something with it later…’ is a risky decision. For me, I never remember it all later. Later I can only think- ‘but it sounded so clever when I had the bright idea in the car!’

One last tip on this subject; you might have great ideas while in the shower. Don’t bring your phone app in there!
The only ones I cannot remember are those that are in a dream but once. if I have the dream twice, I remember. I realize others need to have something to record or write it down so it is good advice. Tweeted.
